Out of the lens options, here's what I got...

That is a great "walkaround" lens. Useful for most everyday needs including video. For your needs I would recommend the "nifty fifty". It is a 50mm f1.8 lens. Great optics and only about $100. Great for portraits and some car photos. May not be quite wide enough for some car angles.Out of the lens options, here's what I got...

Try bumping up the exposure compensation by a stop (+1)... the predominately white car is causing the camera to think it should underexpose the image slightly.... just a tip![]()
For my Canon I use following 3 lenses:
15-85mm
70-300mm VC Tamron
50 mm 1.8
