Wow, I actually won a contest! The ironic thing is my father-in-law was going to buy my a rotary for detailing his wife's impala later this spring. Not anymore!

Any hints for someone used to only random orbit polishers like the PC or UDM? Thanks to Autogeek for running such cool give-aways, I can't wait to use it!

Congrats! Its really not as hard as people make it to be, if your careful, its not that hard, fyi no using it on other people cars with getting insurance first
 
Enjoy !!

Read all you can on using a rotary. Watch the "Wet sanding" videos on youtube. Get the "Buffing with confidence" video from Kleen car (free when bundled with an order). Practice on an older car.

Congrats...glad it went to someone who could use it. If you can, practice on an old body panel or maybe a washer/dryer to get the feel. Check out some of the rotary how-to videos. I'm sure you'll do fine.

Congrats on the win! By the way you don't need to go anywhere, there's tons of qualified information right here on AG. Do a search on rotaries and there will be almost more than you want to read.
