Over the summer I detailed My Porches Cayenne S.
Washed
Clayed
Removed swirls with 2 different pads and used 2000 and 3000 compound.
Sealed Paint
Waxed Car
All with Blackfire products.
Tha car looked great.
Its now been 2 months since and I've washed the car when it needed it.
Now, today I washed my car and I noticed the wheels were really dirty and it won't clean. So I sprayed them with blackfire wheel and tire cleaner. That worked.
Then I washed the car and when I dried it I noticed that it wasn't clean. I thought it was just the one panel. so I washed that again, and its still dirty. Grimy, hazy, brownish color. sort of splattered along the side of my car and on the
hatch. I clayed one door and the clay was filthy and it didn't remove all the dirt.
Now I'm scared to do something or do nothing. Now that I think about it my windshield has some greasy junk om it that was hard to clean.
But paint is different.
Any ideas?

Sounds like road oil or diesel grime. I was driving behind a tractor trailer that was spraying grime out of its exhaust stacks at night and by the time I was able to slow down and exit the mess was every place on my van. I was able to wash it off with Citrus wash and gloss at double strength. I still needed clay and Pinnacle paintwork cleansing lotion to clean up to all clear.Post some photos so the other members can see what your dealing with. Good luck getting your car back to standard.

Most car washes are not made to remove oil or grease, best I can tell you is to try what he said or just look through all the washes and see which will remove oil and grease, other than that and I know people will yell about this but if you cant get it go to the Dawn dish soap...

Try a cleaner wax and see where that gets you

Agreed!

Good example of 'least aggressive" first

Sounds like a "multiple" process may be needed. I have a friend that has a gunky-film on his show Mustang. We got it off his windows with Duragloss Nu-Glass and lots of elbow grease.
I gave him a bottle of DG Marine Polish (the cleaner), but it looks like it may take something stronger to remove it totally off paint. Please let us know if you find what works.

maybe lime or calcium promblem?

Ill add better ones tomorrow.
I went to my father in laws house last week and they were putting down new asphalt and I turned off to avoid it.
Do you think thats what it is?
Sticky oil and new black top?
Dean

Black top sealer overspray maybe. How does the paint feel ?Sounds like that's the promblem asphalt related. You will need a pro to take care of that safely for you.A real pro like a member on here.

Slight mist of sealer on there.Take some clay if you can even try to make it glide with lube go over a small section.Look at the clay is it black.Or try some polish with a towel and see what happens.

If it is actually asphalt or tar of some sort, Stoners Tarminator will take it right off.

My wife often drives down rural roads for work. The constant patching of those roads frequently leads to the materials getting splattered all over and a little work with Tarminator usually gets it right off.

Quick test is take a shop towel and degreaser to test spot.

If the towel turns black it is a film (likely oil based).

Tons of degreasers available so apply one and should be good.

If you want a tough one try removing Krown Rustproofing Oil Spray overspray from horizontal surfaces.

Been chasing that for 1 week so far with Exenit Mould Release (4 microfibers toast so far).
