Can't Find A Decent Spray Bottle Trigger

Two ways, they leak and I have had the spray head pop apart when squeezing. This happened on both the V07 bottles and the fragrance bottles. It really aggravates me.

So these are the pre-filled product bottles, not the generic empty ones? The pre-filled CG bottles I have cannot be opened and refilled. They are not high quality.

I'm talking about the clear, empty ones with gray trigger top.

Honestly imo the standard griots red/white trigger that comes with their 22oz products has been my all time favorite and I still save mines until this day. I believe they are exclusive to griots products, but they make them reusable unlike quite a few products out there that purposely put a lock so when you try to reuse it breaks the trigger. Something about the brand Griots and being Ergonomic, I feel thats one of the traits of Griots from triggers to poolishers! Even with their polishes the cap is very useful.

Other than that, the autogeek chemical resistant gray ones have been pretty ergonomic.

Probably a Tolco.

I purchase my sprayers at the local Janitorial supply shop. They have 2 kinds, regular ones come in 3 colors (blue, red and white) and the chemical resistant ones come in gold. They last a long time. In fact I think I have only lost one last year and it was on my Wheel Brightener bottle I think. That stuff is pure acid so it makes sense.[/B]

Probably a Tolco.

I use tons of these.

The spray pattern is "off" on maybe 25% of them, so I pick out the good ones to use with products that need a fine and consistent spray pattern (think spray wax). The sprayers are ergonomic and last a long time.

One fun tidbit is that McKee's N-914 at 1:32 degrades the connector stem in a similar fashion to Meguiar's D120. My bottle of N-914 at 1:32 isn't yellow like the D120 bottle, but long exposure to the concoction is definitely harming it.[/B]

Those are Tolco's.

Interesting. I have over 20 CG bottles now and not one has failed on me yet. These the ones with the gray head, available on Amazon for around $10-$11 per 3-pack. The are even better than the industrial-strength ones made by Zep. How are yours failing?[/B]

Tolco

And again I say Tolco (the picture).

Yep, the pre-filled bottles. The ones I have can be refilled, at least the couple I've tried. I haven't checked all of them. I refilled the V07 and a few of the fragrances. The spray heads are junk. They may only be made to last for one use.

Guys, USPlastics.

Zoro > USPlastics :xyxthumbs:

I just ordered (10) more of the Tolco 320ARS (acid resistant black/gold) spray heads in order to get all my sprayers to match.
I've acquired a wide array of generic spray heads/bottles over the years. Some have worked OK, but many are junk. The Tolco's are better.
I finally decided to just go uniform across the board and replace all my non-Tolco sprayers.

One other thing I like about the Tolco's is that they have a nice wide flat section on the top of the sprayer that is great for applying your own labels.
When using generic spray bottles, it nice to have the content label on top of the spray head in addition to the side. Makes identifying them a whole lot easier when they are stacked in a bin or bag.

US Plastics is obviously going for the bulk orders for larger retailers. So, the shipping is kind of high; I suppose that's to deter people like us from filling small carts.

Nevertheless, there are some great bottles and dispensers there that are otherwise hard to find elsewhere. ULINE often has them. Also, some of the products can be found on amazon.com.

Did you have to struggle to get the V07 head off? Most of their heads are permanent.

Check out Zoro.

Zoro charged $5 flat rate shipping, while USPlastics quoted $12, for an identical order.

Thanks for the referral of Zoro. I've been looking for a decent industrial supply house to compete with Amazon. This site rocks.

Those aren't Chemical Guys, those are Tolco sprayers.

Chemical Guys doesn't make any products of there own. They just rebrand other products. I've seen one of their "pad" brushes on Amazon and it was actually just a tire/carpet brush identical to the brush Tuff Shine rebrands as their own.

Funny enough, the only products I've found Chemical Guys makes that are worth using are their overpriced rebranded products... So I do like my microfiber and buy directly from the sources everyone else buys from.

Have you ever had the pleasure of looking through a Griots Garage monthly catalog? I betcha don't feel the same way about them though... lol.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not somekind of CG fan or anything.. Heck, the only CG's product I have and like is their Gray Matter waffle weave, but according to what you just said that would mean that their staple polishes & compounds such as V34-V36 are simply rebranded products that can be found under another label somewhere? If that's the case, then I'm all ears... What's the sister brand?

I have a bunch of these 36 oz spray bottles, which are great because of the marked dilution ratios on them. I am having a hard time finding a decent spray nozzle/trigger for them. The ones they came with are flimsy, and don't spray well. I even got my finger caught in the gap between the trigger and body.

I had the older version of the Griots Garage, which I used for these bottles and they work well, but they have worn out, so I am in need of new ones. I tried the newer version that AG sells, however they aren't that good either. They too feel flimsy, the trigger action isn't good, and it doesn't spray/atomize the fluid well.

Can anyone recommend a good trigger I can use with these bottles that have the following?
-Durable
-Solid Trigger Feel/Action
-Good Atomization
-High Volume

If there are no decent triggers for these bottles anymore, I would be open to trying a different bottle all together.

Have the same problem.Autozone had a bottle and awesome sprayer for2.49 and they last even with acid.

The red puts out to much product.more like dumping rather than misting. Also the red sucks all the air out of the bottle looks like it got ran over.Try Autozone.

FYI, Zoro is actually owned by Granger. Any item Granger sells, you can get from Zoro for A LOT less money. Many times, your items will arrive from Zoro with Granger item/part/tags/numbers/labels, etc....

Also, if you sign up for their email specials, they constantly send out 20% and 25% off coupons making them even cheaper. They ship free with a $50 order too. I'm always ordering stuff from Zoro.
