Well im using m205 and with white LCP and they wont come out!. They are the swirls that can only been seen in the sun. I did 4-5 passes several times and still they wont come out!. What am I doing wrong?

Try using an orange pad and if that doesn't work, move up to Ultimate Compound with a white pad.

I tried the orange pad and well that didnt work either. You're saying ultimate compound? The scracthes are so fine they can only be seen in sun. I would think m205 and white should get them out.

Well if orange and 205 did not take it out your technique may be the problem or you need a heavier polish. Do smaller sections 18"X18" and slow arm speed (1 second per inch). BTW what buffer are you using?

Im using the porter cable. Im putting decent pressure and am going fairly slow

Pad is turning not very fast but not too slow. i guess i can try an UC

Do you have a black hash mark on your backing plate so you can monitor the pad rotation?

not on my backing plat I marked the top of the pad

Alright might just change that, I used the uber compound and it actually seemed to work pretty well, but that just means after that I have next step with m205 which I was trying to avoid. Do you know why the swirls could only be seen in the sunlight(sun has to hit just right), but the paint looks perfect otherwise?

Some lights washes out and therefore you can't see the swirls. Other good led's will show swirls nicely. Sunlight is the best swirl finder IMO, yet others say it's too bright. If you look on the perimeter it won't be as blinding.

Ya its just strange cause ive used all kinds of different lights including xenon up to 2800 lumens from 300-2800 lumens, but nothing can replace naturally light it seems. I mean.

Look at these it looks great, but the swirls are there

Nice ride, love the wheels.:props:

You said you did 4 or 5 passes.

Have you watched any of Mike Phillips videos?

One section is 16"x16" with six passes, up and down (1, 3, 5) and side to side on (2, 4 & 6). Prime the pad, spread the product quickly then Start the section passes. Speed should be at 5.

Mark the backing plate. On cut and polish it's important for rotation in the pad. That is what levels the scratches.

Use orange pad with speed

For wax or sealants, not so important for rotation. Use slower speed and a softer pad.
