but WOW! They really believe it can last for 3 years? I'd love to see how this turns out.

This ought to be a great test! Especially since you're going to do half of the car with it, and half with nothing.
 
Just playing devil's advocate...

If the product creates an actual layer or coating of protection, how do you work on the coating should it get swirls?

Add more of the product to fill them in?
Remove the swirls which would theoretically remove some portion or all of the coating and then replace the coating?


It could be the coating can't be swirled or scratched? Or it could be a product marketed at people that don't know or care about swirls. The latter makes more sense as this would make it a "Paint Protection" product like new car dealers sell.

I'm all for new technology and curious as to how this new product will work, so keep us updated Dave.
