Hmm I wonder if they lost control on the runway? The runway is a POS and known for being in a good ol' deteriorated state right now. John Travolta lives there and doesn't keep his jets or planes there anymore b/c of the shape the runway is in.
does anubody know what kind of car that is ?? My heart goes out to their families . Probably just 5 kids out riding and playing , life is so precious and can be taken away SO quickly .
Boy, there's a rocket with wheels!! For the last 5 years I have been doing collision reconstruction and have faced scenes like that one. I also think about the stupid #### I did and got away with in my youth "there for the grace of God go I" (I think is the quote).
It hurts me to see 5 young lives taken like this. I feel sick in my stomach thinking about their parents and brothers and sisters being crushed by the news of their deaths. RIP.
They must have lived there or visited somebody there as its a private gated community, and I wonder what will happen to the owners/developers as they are still selling sites but the runway itself is in very bad condition to the point where only small light weight type planes are able to safely land, this is why Travolta doesn't keep his jets or planes there anymore....which was the only reason he bought the house b/c its the only private community where he could land his Boeing. Wonder if the condition of the runway could have lent to them losing control.
Honestly, I feel bad overall, but in some ways I dont. The parents were stupid enough to hand the keys over to them in the first place, not the brightest idea. Then alcohol was a factor, which means that the kids made the stupid decision to drink and drive.
Natural Selection if you ask me. People that dumb should not be allowed to reproduce. My prayers do go out to the families though.
One of the articles states that one of the fathers said that his son was an organ donor and the only thing that was salvageable from his body was his eyes. Very sad.
