Car damaged by "professional" detailers

Sorry to see this. I am sure anyone here on AGO that lives near your area could change that.

wow, how can a "detailer" turn over a vehicle looking like that and accept payment. I wouldn't have given them one cent.

I can't speak from personal experience about Aussie detailing but a bit further south in New Zealand - seeing this type of work is pretty common.

That is quite disheartening to hear. Something as shoddy as this should be the exception, not the rule.

This is akin to a rattle can job from a supposedly quality paint shop. Absolutely unacceptable.

Agreed with everyone regarding small claims. Take them to court for a refund.

I'm not a professional. I mainly only detail my own vehicles. I've been doing this for about 6 years now. I've read a _ton_ of posts and watched pretty much every detailing Youtube video... twice.

What I can say without a doubt is... I could do 100% better then those idiots. To me, its clear that they did not correctly wash the vehicle and then some idiot took a rotary to the paint and they had no clue.

OP, get your money back. Regardless, leave BAD reviews (with photos) every place possible. Keep other people from making a mistake but also cost this company their business as they don't know how to run it correctly and are just trying to rip people off.

Yeah.....

I think we all can agree on the idea of all of our (as in all AGO members) first times came out better than that.....

I had a friend who bought a car that appeared like that, but I didn't have the heart to tell them that they got hacked...

Eventually I told them but after the fact I did their car on the house because I couldn't bare looking at it week after week.
