Waxes are counter productive in that respect. They cling to, attract, and hold onto anything passing by. They also are notorious for beading which frankly is cool looking but beads produce dirt spots once the water evaporates. In my opinion there is nothing more frustrating than a waxed car after the rain evaporates off the paint or hell...just leaving it sit for an hour outside. Waxes even attract bugs right after your done. Anything that attracts the very things that make maintaining the paint harder are no longer shorting my life. I'm done with that nonsense. In my opinion carnuba based waxes have now been reduced to one advantage (and even that is debatable)...looks and even that is short lived an hour after you apply it once the dust and dirt magically start to accumulate.
