CAR HORROR (parental advisory) PS: happy ending!!!

Well I am a retired Operating engineer. I operated side booms and cranes as well as front end loaders and dozers. I did not work on the derrick platforms. I mostly help build pipelines from the well house to the gathering center. Believe me the thrill is gone as far as being up north is concerned..LOL!! But your right I still have the Norsk blood in my veins. I never get cold. It is the heat in Texas that gets me.

That's only along the coast. It's less humid and just dang hot in other parts of Texas. But when the weather changes it happens fast. Today in Dallas it was 77 degrees, tonight it will get down near freezing with a wintery mix tomorrow.

Wow; had no idea. All I knew was we spent a week in San Antonio two summers or so again when one of my brothers in law got married, and it was awful! And I know about humidity, as I lived in New York - but this was a whole new take on sauna weather.
Thanks for the info. You never know what you learn here each day!!
Blessings,
Lauren:)
