I didn't think this really fell under "detailing," so I'm posting it here. The plastic "casing" that surrounds the base of my driver's side seat has a tiny quarter-inch crack in it. It's above the power seat adjustment switches. Does anyone know how I'd have this repaired or the plastic piece replaced? I'm assuming a place like Macco only does car bodys, etc.

I'm not sure how the crack got there. Probably from a heavy previous owner. LOL It's an '07, however. Who repairs car interiors when they are damaged in a wreck? Would it be a body shop?

Get a used one. Even if it is repaired you will still see where it was. Almost all plastic interior parts have some type of texture, which is the hard part to match.

Once I get the replacement part (either new or used), where would I go to have it replaced? Do body shops work with car interiors?

theres probably only a couple little screw holding it on, if any. it either has little clips or a few little screws holding it to the metal base of the seat. check ebay. not sure which make of rig it is, but there are some discounted auto parts stores online for some makes like honda and ford that i remember off the top of my head.

try to look online for after market parts. or if it really bothers you i suggest covering it with a leatherette, that's when all your hope is gone :) hope this help.

If you go to the dealer and order it they will probably have the diagram they can show you.
