Hi everyone, Im not sure if this is the right place to put this question but i just wanted to know what kind of floor mats you guys prefer. I use big rubber dishmats and they keep getting caught in the pedals so id rather change them sooner than later. My vehicle is used for outings, Not work so i cant decide weather i should buy some carpet mats or normal rubber mats. Which ones do you like most and do carpet mats allow water to soak through them? Thanks

I use weathertech mats in all of my cars. The custom laser-fit ones are the ####. Keeps the carpet looking spotless AND they're easy to clean with an APC or soap. Husky Liners are decent too, and cheaper. If they don't make the laser-fit ones for your car, their custom fit liners will work just fine.

If your looking for quality I would suggest weather tech or cannon floormats.I had a set of cannons and transferred from car to car lasted like 6 years or so.weathertech mats are molded to your car or truck floorboards.

Weather Tech in every car I've owned!
Great for the snow/salt up north and equally as awesome for summer time beach visits. You won't be disappointed!

Weathertech also. Front, rear, and trunk liner too. Worth every cent!

Wow everyone here has suggested weather tech so i trust there a pretty good quality mat to buy lol. Will defs be looking at them since al you guys seem to like them :) Cheers everyone.

Hey Guys,

Because my Honda CRV is a 2001. It seems that is too old of a vehicle for Weathertech to have anymore of the Laser Fitted Floor Liners.

What they do have available for my Vehicle is the All Weather fitted ones. They say fitted, but do these really fit around the countours not leaving much carpet exposed. I know the middle floor between the two front floor mats will be exposed. I'm just hoping it will cover all carpet around the foot areas.

No it will be a general size mat, an all in one type fit. I have them in my ranger and to me they are a bit to small. I need more coverage as I see sand quit a bit so they only capture so much.

Wytstang,

Terrific Photo to illustrate how that look and fit. Thank you greatly for this post. I was definitely going to buy some, but only if they were a complete fit. If they are just like that, I think I can find some lesser expensive ones that will have the same coverage.

Thanks again and take care!

Weathertech. Best detailing related accessory you can buy for your car/truck interior. I tried a set of husky liners in a 2001 Dodge Dakota, because they didn't have Weathertechs for that model year. Husky's were OK but no where near as good as Weathertechs. I've got one set of tan in one car and black in the other. The tan hides dirt and debris better than black.

Weathertech are like insurance for your carpeting. And as an added bonus. After X amount of years of ownership your carpeted OEM mats show zero wear. My carpeted mats are strategically located under numerous beds. Keep the Weathertechs when you sell the vehicle and resell them on Craigslist. The buyer of your car will think you took your wore Tyvek booties when they look at your perfect carpeted mats.

I just read the part about not being the laser fit. Well, I guess you are going to have trade up to a newer CRV so you can get fitted Weathertechs:)

I bought husky liners for my 2016 WRX because they covered more area than the weather techs

I would say rubber or weather tec, carpet is a cleaning issue

Your welcome, I wish they covered more as I could use more coverage.

I have them in all of our vehicles and use their trunk liners too.

Not my photos or my vehicles, but they do show VERY Well how they fit and protect.

WeatherTech here as well. Just threw the front ones in the shower to wash and rinse off the salt and mud.
Getting ready for that blizzard that just started up here in New England.
