I ordered this bottle a LONG time ago. Been meaning to try it on my daily driver to see if I like it for my collector cars
been busy, but gonna try to apply it soon. Still in the package, never opened, is it safe to apply?

It might not be ready for prime time.

I've done such with a couple older bottles. I found it got a little "thick". Not in the bottle, but when applying.

A little more tricky, but it worked on lesser projects
