I would have to say that it depends on recommendation by manufacturer. For example I use ipa and n914 for after polishing to inspect the paint or for before a sealant or something. I haven't used D114 but eraser is not compatible with the McKee coating due to the eraser lubrication elements and something in the coating that don't play well together according to Nick. I like Eraser but I tend to save that for coatings. Mind you I also drop in some more IPA into eraser, I'll add an extra two ounces of IPA per 500 ml because I don't want to go around three times. I also tend to use a towel soaked in this solution and sprayed down the panel so I use a lot of this stuff. If I'm not applying a coating, n914 and IPA is a lot cheaper than a litre of eraser so cost factors in too. If I'm applying high Def paint sealant or dr. Beasley plasma coat.. no need to spend 5 dollars of eraser when I can spend like... A dollar 25 for ipa and n914.
