tried some cheap VO5 shampoo; the ones you get at the drug store for ~70 cents per 15oz bottle.
that comes out to $3 per half gallon.

lots of suds. doesn't strip wax.

if it's safe enough for your scalp, it's safe enough for your paint.

I guess the bottom line is; if it's working for you that's all that matters....:props:

Suds don't mean anything. Look at ONR it has zero suds and it truly effective. I would leave the development of car shampoo to the professionals.

And saying it's safe for paint if it's safe for your head doesn't make any sense. It may be safe in the fact that it won't melt the paint off your car, but you have no idea it it has enough lubricity to clean the dirt off safely.

Muratic acid probably tenderizes but I don't marinade my steaks in it.

Just because it works on people doesn't mean its great for a car. VO5 is designed for a biological creature. Car shampoo is designed for something completely different that is not self healing and is not organic in the way that humans are. One soap is designed for one thing and the other is designed for the other.

Personally I think you could just buy a car shampoo for a really great price and spend a few pennies per wash.

Hey if your happy with VO5 then "use it often" :)

You guys have it backwards. I'm going to start using ONR in my hair.

Like CEE DOG said, if it works for you...

 Now you're talking! LOL and you don't have to rinse your hair anymore!

I may try opti-bond in my spiked hair.

To the OP, I promise you, I wish you nothing but the best with your car and its paint. I am just taking the opportunity @ a cheap joke.

I personally like to bathe in dodo juice... soft, sudsy, and leaves my skin smooth.

Typically after a mani/pedi with my friends, I always seal up my nails with Klasse... those germans know what to do....

If I ever need to smooth out my feet, elbows, knees, and hands, I just hook up my PC with a surbuf... throw some 105 on it, and cut away! Always leaves a smooth satiny finish that I just adore!!!!

;)

I sealed my teeth with WGDG and then waxed it with fuzion. like they say a perfect smile is worth a thousand words :)

Yeah, I have to agree.

Toilet paper was designed and engineered for a specific purpose and we all know what that is. At the same time, sand paper was designed and engineered for a completely different purpose but can also do what the TP was designed to do........

What I am trying to say is, everything is designed and engineered for a specific purpose(s). While one may do the job of both, it doesn't always mean it should be used that way.

You guys are having way too much fun with this!!

I think I speak for the other guys when I say that we are just taking advantage of cheap jokes, and if V05 works, and you like the results... use it!

(already been said, but I don't want the OP to take the kidding the wrong way, sometimes I do)

OMG This is making my day!

im only being sarcastic with my previous reply but like many have said hair shampoo was made for hair and car shampoo made for cars. theres a reason/research behind everything when its made. MG shampoo plus is priced good check it out. GL next thing will be giving the car a hair cut lol j/k.
