Car Wash Shampoo

Hey Everyone...just wondering what everyone's fav choice is for car shampoo...almost out of megs nxt and want to try something different.
 
For my two bucket hand washes it was Poorboy's Super Slick 'n Suds (great suds & lubricity), but now that I'm using the Foam Gun, my vote has to go to DP Xtreme Foam Formula Auto Shampoo (love all that foam & suds!!). :awesome:
 
Pinnacle , Poorboys , Duragloss, and Wolfgang
 
DG, NXT,Poorboys, TW Shampoo not a Fav, but P/UP Cheap,Strike 1 FG Soap,DP Extreme .Not in the exact order.just a couple i have & use .
DG as of now is my fav, DP for my FG :D
 
I really like Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds. It has a very nice smell to it, but I can't quite put my finger on it. It sort of smells like cherries, but not quite as strong. Maybe it is black cherry? :confused:
 
My top 3 for bucket washes are:

Poorboy's SS&S
Meguiar's GC
Meguiar's NXT

My top 3 for foam gun use:

DP Extreme Foam (have not tried this via 2-bucket method, but this is the clear #1 for the FG)
Meguiar's NXT
Black-Magic Carnauba Shampoo (I know...laugh all you want...lol)

Hmmmm...my bottle of SS&S smells like apples...I may have to sniff it again :D
 
PB SS&S but thats all I use so I cant really compare.. but I really like it!!!

You know what!...I think you might just be right. I just smelled SS&S and now that you said it, it does seem to smell more like apples than cherries.

I can't smell worth a darn!

I do know though that Spray & Wipe smells like green apples. So maybe the apple scent is a common theme among the Poorboy's lineup. :p
 
Meg's Gold Class. It's not the best compared with the other formulas such as DP, Poorboy's, etc....but it's still an awesome shampoo. Smells very nice, suds quite a bit, and works great in the foamgun. Plus I get it locally for ~$5.50 for 1.25 gallons (local warehouse store). I was 2 cars at least twice a month and I'm still on the one I bought in Feb. I use it with a foamgun too (and use much more than I would vs a bucket wash.)
 
I really like Meg's Gold Class Shampoo. I like the feel, smell, and performance and the price is a real value. Especially when I buy it at Costco.

I recently tried the DP Extreme Foam and I like it too. It seems to be more slick feeling than the Meg's GC and lasts a skosh longer on the car.

Someday I'll have to give PB a try.

Meg's Gold Class is one i soap i always hear about i'm going to have to try it soon before the cole sets in. Have you guys heard NXT may be a little harsh and could remove your LSP if oftened used?
 
You will really get spoiled with Pinnacle, Poorboy's, and DP Xtreme. These are the best shampoos you can get (Wolfgang is also nice, but I don't like it's fishy/rusty smell).
 
I've been a die hard Megs Gold Class user until I used the DP Extreme, It is so much slicker than Megs. But I haven't tried Megs in the foam gun yet, likewise I haven't tried DP in the bucket either.
 
In no particular order.

PoorBoys
Gold Class
Pinnacle

I have some DP extreme that I have yet to try and think it'll probably make its way on to the list.
