Hi,

I recently got a 08 Gallardo which has a large amount of leather. Seats, large dash, door panels, part of the center console.. Basically it's all over. I believe the leather in it is not coated. Right now it is in excellent shape but I would like to keep it that way and wondering what cleaners you guys like. I have yellow seat inserts which I'm guessing are going to show dirt pretty quickly so I'd like to clean regularly and put as much protection on everything and especially the seats and dash as I can.

Having a hard time figuring out which would be the best route.. Was looking between wolfgang, pinnacle, connolly, lexol. Not sure if one is better suited for my application or some others I should look into.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks

Since I purchased my new car I have been researching over and over on detailing sites like AG on how to car/clean/protect my leather. The only simple thing I have come across in all my readings is that prevention is better than correction. :iagree: I came across this thread on Detailing Bliss that contains a huge amount of combined information on cleaning/maintaining leather. Very good and long read.

A freakin Gallardo! Could we get some pics of your quarter million dollar machine? Ive been using Zaino Bros for years and like it. I bought some Wolfgang a couple months ago and it is also very nice. I think the Wolfgang is a little better.

Thanks, I was looking at connolly but see a lot of people really hate the smell. Car still smells nice and new so a bit hesitant.

great link, and yes. more confused now. heh

still up in the air, but i think im leaning towards giving Sonus Leather cleaner/condition a shot.

Interesting thread and has brought up a question - I am not trying to hijack your thread.
I use leatherique rejuvenator and cleaner, and find this a great combo.

I am interested in the comment from "killrwheels@autogeek" about using connolly monthly?? does that do something different to the leatherique cleaner? Appreciate your responses.

I find the whole leather care confusing as there are so many products on the market.... I have untreated leather.
