Career Opportunity?!?!?

No one has figured out how to franchisee the auto detailing business.

In general if there was a pot of gold someone would have perfected a business plan and been selling it as a franchisee nationally.
^^^I disagree^^^

-There are more than a few very successful 'business-plans',
that have figured out how to franchise the auto detailing/appearance-business.

-These are the:
Franchising business-plans...that have realized that there's a huge difference between:
running a buffer; and, running the Business...as the Detailing Business-owner.

-And depending on ones definition of volume...
There are those that have used these franchising business-plans,
that have actually attained a quite-nice-filling of that: Pot-of-Gold.

Who? What companies are auto detailing companies that are successfully franchised nationally?

Who? What companies are auto detailing companies that are successfully franchised nationally?

Car Detailing/Care Appearance Systems...(To name just a few):

-Meguiar's (nationally/internationally);
-Simonize (nationally/internationally
-Turtle Wax (nationally/internationally)
-Auto Spa
-Auto Lab
-American
-Mr. Clean
-Detail Plus (nationally/internationally)
-Ziebart (fastest growing)
-Eco-Wash

And...Yes:
-All offer training in/for their system
-Most, if not all, have "Professional-Detailers" (subjective) in-house.
-The "Business-owners" make a ton of money!!

:)

Meguiars, Simonize, Turtle wax, Mr.Clean are all brands.(I would say chemical companies but I'm not sure if they even manufacture anything) Detail plus looks like a retailer. Auto lab looks like a quick lube auto center. Ziberts looks like a auto accessories retailer who does installs. Eco wash looks like a car wash. And the rest I have no idea what they are. Again I see no Auto Detailing franchisees.

Simonize franchises tunnel washes/detail centers. We have 2 here in Mphs. Not sure about the rest...

^^^Brands that also franchise car detailing/appearance centers^^^

Detail plus looks like a retailer.

^^^They are also "retailing" franchises for car detailing/appearance centers^^^

Auto lab looks like a quick lube auto center.

^^^Some, not all, also have 'detailers' on-site^^^

Ziberts looks like a auto accessories retailer who does installs.

^^^Have you been to one of their brick&mortars, or web-site lately?^^^

Detailing is their fastest-growing service!!!

Eco wash looks like a car wash.

^^^That offers detailing/car appearance services^^^
And the rest I have no idea what they are.

Again I see no Auto Detailing franchisees.

-You don't have to (or you can) look a little deeper...
-And you don't even have to believe it...

But:
Auto Detailing franchisees...are alive and doing very well in the USA, and around the World.

Zeibart is easily the one that most will probably recognize as a detailing franchise.

AUTO DETAILING

They may not have every available service at each location as that is up to the franchisee.

AUTO DETAILING

^^^Thanks for the link Chris!^^^
[There are 4 Ziebarts around my vicinity :( :nomore:]

This is applicable to most franchised detail/appearance centers...
(As well as those that are not franchised.)

One way or another...(And perhaps due to the current economic crisis):
-This type of "Auto Detailing franchises" have found, and cater to the:
"99.95% market"<<<(maybe more, in the future)

Hi Anthony...

-I apologize for any hi-jacking...
(Just my way of adding some fuel to the franchise-debate-fire
that became part of your thread)...

-Franchising:
Something, IMO, that could have easily been perceived as part of your business' growth-plan.

To Wit...(from your original post, among others):

"My partner and I have basically decided to get an individual to run the daily operations of B & B Detailing.
Tyson is starting to turn heads in the music industry and I have had some wonderful transitions
as well. With all of this said, we are looking for someone to take over operations of B & B Detailing in
Middle Tn. We have grown beyond capabilities in the past 2.5 years, and hope that the right
individual can continue this growth and success"

Again...
Please excuse any perceived hi-jacking on my part.

:)

Bob

Sorry b&b. Bob gave me something to look into. I always learn something on these forums.

OK now back to B&B. Someone step up and help him out.

LOL - no worries guys.... always interesting reading your comments! I made this thread to find someone that is looking for a serious career in detailing - and AG seems to be the place to look for sure. You both always add great things to many threads - and thank you for that!
