I was with my wife and kid at the local conservatory, and I stumbled upon this.
I didn't have my spray bottle with me, so I can't say if it repelled water well. Perhaps it needs to be coated with CG J97.
So, if the leaves are the source of the wax, and given the size of the leaves relative to the stems, then one can see how it would take a lot of leaves to extract the carnauba and why it would be relatively costly with higher content.
