I have fund this guy to bepretty useless I have the teal carpet brush and you can not even let the full weight of the machine rest on the brush or it wont spin... I even tried crankingit up to 6... nothing... I was hoping this would be a time saver on SUV cargo areas...

Gratefully taking suggestions!!!!

What cleaning products have you tried? Is it the large area that's the problem that the carpet brush for the PC is needed or is it perhaps the product isn't working well?

I have used the Aqua with the older model PC and not had issues with it spinning, brush really helped get rid of a nasty coffee stain! (I am no longer allowed to drink coffee in car unless in a sippy cup!) Should not be any trouble at all with the new XP model, can you give us more info...
Does it spin freely to you apply pressure? What are you using it on, interior carpet?

I just received the white brush for my old PC yesterday. I tested it inside the house on one of those very stubborn stains that magically appear when you have kids and found no need to make the head rotate. I worked the spot over several times and it came out. I think it got the job done by simple (small throw) agitation. Not sure what spinning the brush could do besides laying down the pile and there for not cleaning as deep into the fibers. Try to think of it more like a sonic scrub brush.

Same here, the throw or agitation did the job for me, did a great job actually.

:iagree: I've never used one, but it sounds logical. The underlined statement is the reason I have not looked into a brush for my Flex.

Like Meghan I've used the teal brush with the pc and it spins freely and does an awesome job cleaning with Folex. Are you using the washer?

I ended up not using it because my tiny feeble mind forgot about the "non rotational" abilities of the PC. I guess you plan on the agitation and use pressure? and just scrub with the entire machine?

I ended up scrubbign by hand and got the stain out with folex and the LGM but today I am doing a minivan and was going to scrub the entire floor and did not want ot do it by hand I will have to play with it more. Thanks for the explanation of the "its working even without spinning"... to much time spent on buffing paint for me! So the agitation of the random orbit is doing the work much like the "cleanign the pads on the FLy" with the terry cloth process when buffing out the cars.

Thanks all:doh:
