CarPro Cquartz Dlux - In Stock, Tested & Reviewed

Hey Avi,

That's pretty impressive to say the least. :props:

I've been using sealants and wheel waxes on my wheels but when I use products like IronX, Meguiar's Wheel Brightener, or Sonax Full Effect Wheels Cleaner the durability is rather short. I've been looking for something shy of CarPro Cquartz and this product peaked my interest...

Thanks Avi! :props:

Avi or Corey, I assume ReLoad will enhance the lustter and extend the life of this product. Also what will PERL do for it? TIA!

nothing to be add on it.. no need reload or Perl.
Reload is not a enhancer as you might know. its stand alone product.. silica water based spray..

no need to add on DLUX, maybe after 9 months or so , when the beading effect will start fade.. but than its easy to coat again the DLUX.

Yes i see, i think it should be fine, didnt think of this , im not sure how long it will last, since you must fold it non stop ... but it should be ok... good water beading as well on that....

If Im going to spend 40.00 it I was hoping for more then....oh yeah that SHOULD work! Can you test it and let me know? Tonneau covers are vinyl material.

Jeff, I'll test it on something like that as soon as I can after I get it.

I'll try it there too! I'm sure Avi will chime in.

I have the exact same question! Feed back please

That kind of coating on the interiors would be amazing! :D

No problem on interior plastic, dont see reason why not.
Jeff120, on Vinyl i will say again should work at least from shine and UV proof property. hydrophobicity... its flexible material cover which get folded often i guess so might wear off this property. we didnt made it for Vinyl , thats extra target you looking for so its up to you , it wont damage your vinyl if thats what you are worry about.

Wow! Thanks a lot Avi! :D

How I'd love to have a coating on all the interior plastic panels!

Hi all,

Can anyone advise me on how this works on painted plastic bumpers and such? Mine could certainly use a little help. I'd like to try this before repainting, because $40.00 is a lot cheaper than $600+ for a repaint.

Its not a alternative to clear coat. Basically just call it a very very very long lasting sealant lol. Like maybe forever.

Well, these bumpers aren't clearcoated. Just flat grey that's a bit faded.

Clearcoat is...to a degree...a very very very long lasting sealant. :D

I just ordered some. I will be testing it out when I get it. So I'll report back and possibly write up a review.

no problem at all!!, there is a good detailer in the UK, who run this test on bumper coated with Dlux, for 5 months now, with most harsh chemical degreaser and cleaners... still same as day 1.

Carpro Cquartz DLUX Long Life coating for trim & plastic coated wheels Testing - YouTube

I see the product being used on bumper and trim but is it designed to be used on the plastic body panels of a car? My wifes Lexus has large sections of the body panels in the same color as the metalwork. Both rear and front quarter panels, frontal area as well as wrap around trim on the back side.

Hi
if your bumpers or any other part are painted with same color as your car , means clearcoated, any kind of sealant can be good for that,
DLUX made mostly for non painted plastic, bare plastic bumpers
