CarPro EcH2o Concentrated Waterless Wash - WOW! WOW! WOW!

It doesn't smell as bad as Reload, does it? IMO Reload is the worst smelling detailing product ever conceived. I've never smelled IronX, but I bet Reload's worse. It smells exactly like the Raid roach killer sold in Mexico. Are you kidding me, Reload smells like roses compared to IronX.

This makes me curious about trying a mix between Reload + Wolfgang Uber to use on customers vehicles...

Used this as a waterless wash on our 2009 Acadia this weekend. The car is a family vehicle and far from perfect paint. That said this stuff worked amazing, I probably should have done a rinseless wash but we were getting ready to go out and I couldn't stand looking at the filth anymore. Grabbed a bunch of MF towels and heavily soaked the panels and a little on the MF towels and then buffed with a dry towel after. I agree with the OP, WOW WOW WOW!!!!! This stuff left a glossy shine behind this vehicle hasn't seen in quite some time. The paint feels slick to the touch and continues to shine several days later. Very happy with this product!

I've been lurking on this thread and I have a bottle but haven't tried it yet. You guys got me ready to try it right now. I'll be right back...

Okay, I'm back. Just mixed it 1:10 like most people on this thread. The smell isn't bad at all IMO. Kind of candyish. Has a fairly thick consistency similar to D115. I'll will be interesting to see how it beads in the rain. The surface felt slick, not the slickest I've experienced but pretty slick nonetheless. Left a nice finish on the surface. With the silica content I wonder if it helps for it to have a little cure time. My initial thought is it will be a keeper.

Now the question is when will the 1 liter size come back in stock?

Does this product has an expire date? I have some carpro products and almost all of them expire whitin a year or two.

on the 500ml bottle i have, the sticker on the bottom reads...

pr. 25 10 16

ex. 24 10 18

(day/month/year)

so it looks like about 2 years..

if you keep products in temperatures that aren't too extreme i'm guessing it should be okay for quite some time. give them a good shake every month or so...

if you use this as a QD, make sure to use two microfiber towels as it takes a few more passes to flash...

also wanted to mention though it may be minor to some.. make sure to shake well before you dilute it with water and also before you start to use it. a little separation towards the top appears after it sits a while...

Shake your QD/WW mixture well before use too. There's a whitish layer at the top that separates after sitting for a while.

I just tried EcH20 for the first time and I am SUPER IMPRESSED. I mixed it at 1:5 ratio. I have been playing around with different mixtures. Totally fun stuff !! It works as a waterless wash to a paint sealant. I love this product. Always looking to tweek the shine. Now there is no excuse to have a dirty car.

Well I just picked a starting point to start the dilution process and test how it looks. The car was driven thru a rainstorm. So mostly road slop kicked up. It was a good starting point having never used it before. I just sprayed and wiped. Chased it with a clean towel. No scratches found. Slick. Happy guy.

WW or RW that's a strong dilution ratio.

HOw do you like it compare to uber rinseless?
Do you guys think its worth switching over?

I still think uber has better dilution ratio, but if cheaper product works better ......

I've not used ECH20 as a replacement in terms of rinseless washing. There I still really like and am happy with Uber and it's dilution ratios. I use it mainly as a detail spray and have used it as a waterless wash when my car is just simply dusty.

How do they compare as a waterless?

I still prefer Uber as a waterless because of the better dilution ratio and the fact that it wipes clean with one pass. Ech2O requires a few buffs to be completely streak free. I've started using it as a final wipe down after doing a rinseless or waterless almost like a spray wax but it gives me some reassurance that it's also cleaning whatever leftover grime I missed with the initial wash.

As a rinseless or waterless , Wolfgang is easier to dry off but ech2o leaves a nicer slicker gloss. Cleaning power and slickness goes to ech2o. However as claylube wolfgang is definitely better, cheaper overall. As a qd spray, ech2o leaves the nicer gloss. I think if you were doing a display piece, ech2o is more work but better results. Wolfgang is better as just a wash since the gloss left behind isn't the same.
