Although Eraser like other paint wipes will leave something behind; what is left behind does not hinder coatings adhesion like oils and waxes.
Most regular panel wipes will not leave anything behind - they 100% volatile. Eraser is a different type of product entirely. I would be cautious about Eraser with other high tech/nano/ceramic coatings because that SLES is not volatile and will leave a very slight residue. Obviously it is fine with Cquartz products but I would not be wanting to risk it with others - if you have a problem, the coating supplier will immediately point to the Eraser. It will, of course, present absolutely no issue for less fussy products (traditional sealants and waxes) and is extremely popular for prep here.
