Will be ordering this but where is the CarPro gloss pad everyone is using?
 
I haven't really seen anything mentioned on Essence as a stand alone....I know most won't use it for that, and it wouldn't last as long as a regular coating but I think it still could be nice to use as a in betweener for something better then a normal sealant but without going full blown coating

Nick, would there be any issues using this as a basecoat for Uber Ceramic coating? Also after using Essence, will a wipedown with Perfekt Finish paint prep be needed before Uber or can you apply Uber directly to the surface?

Guys can't someone please explain what essense is?

I have tried to read and I become more confused then I initially was.

Is it a filler coating ? Is it a compound is it a Polish that fills with a coating but made for a platform to top over the coating


Someone please explain
 
As I understand... It's a polish with filling capability and a prep for coating or LSP. Kinda much like an all in one.

From their website...

Nick , I'm confused on the website it before you click essence it says 34.99 after you click it, it says 39.99?

I haven't personally tested Essence yet, so I can't comment.

My best guess is that best results will be achieved when used in conjunction with Cquartz.
 
I've used this on two cars so far. Both topped with reload. It's incredible.

You must use it and see in person to understand. Pictures do no justice

I did 2 cars this weekend. Essence then reload. you are right pictures do no justice.
 
I have hydro2 on my car right now. My plan is to use Essance, then top with Reload. Do I need to somehow remove Hydro2 before doing this?

I would think that Essence will remove the Hydro2. Whenever in doubt, I email the company.
