Carpro Gliss over Polish angel Viking coat?

Ok, hope this isn’t sacrilege for asking but....... would it be wrong to top Polish Angel Viking coat w Carpro Gliss?

So, here is my dilemma. I picked up wifey’s new car on Monday night. For some reason I thought I was stocked up on everything I needed for a full detail including coating. Turns out I’m not a logistics and inventory specialist. This is what I currently have:

Carpro CQuartz UK3.0 - enough for a few panels but not entire car and especially not enough for 2 coats
Carpro Gliss 2.0 - enough for an entire car
Polish Angel Viking Kit - enough for an entire coat - single application
Polish Angel Viking Spritz - enough for 1 application but sprayer broke and leaks. I unfortunately lost some of that liquid gold.
Gyeon Mohs - enough for 2 coats on a car but I can’t stand the smell of this. Gives me headaches
Optimum Opti Gloss - enough for a few panels

I was considering the following:
1 full coat of Polish Angel
1 full coat of Gliss
Cquartz UK 3.0 for rims and plastics and interior carbon fiber trim

Based on my research Polish Angel has Silica in it. CQuartz UK has SiO2 in it. A quick google search shows Silica is SIO2 or a form of it. Carpro Gliss stated it can be used as a top coat for CQuartz based coatings but particularly mentions CQuartz UK and not any others. soooooo, has anyone ever tried this or have reason to believe this is about the dumbest thing I could do to my brand new car that I just spent hours polishing? Thanks in advance. I appreciate all responses, good or bad.
 
Of course it would probably be better to use brands base coats with topper. With that being said would probably be ok and as I think they both have a year plus durability.

Maybe teat spot in a door jam?

Yeah, i think i'm going to do it. Already applied Polish Angel Viking on the paint and Gyeon Mohs Q2 on Rims. Waiting for cure time to pass and then i'll do Gliss. I'll create a new post about end result.
 
What’s your hurry?

Order what you need and do it right without making compatibility guesses. The wife’s new chariot will not turn into a pumpkin at midnight if it doesn’t have some type of coating on it.
 
Compatibility guesses = pioneering new experiences for all to read about.

Who said I was in a hurry? Just trying to find out if what I do have access to will work. Figured maybe other people here had explored. No hurry here, staying at home passing the time.

No doubt that looks excellent. To get white to pop like that is not easy. I had PA Viking coat on my out GLE43 and it barely lasted a year. So for this car which will also live outdoors I thought maybe I would protect the Pa Viking w an overcoat. I live in the northeast and we go through a variety of climate changes. I want to get a little extra longevity out of it.

I interpreted your original post as "I just got a new car and need to get ceramic protection on it ASAP." Perhaps I misunderstood. My intention was only to point out that the car will be just fine until you've decided which protection product(s) you want to use on it long term, and then have the opportunity to obtain.

If folks want to explore by mixing and matching various products it's fine with me. For me personally, after buying all of the hot detailing products that have come out in the past 5 years I prefer the "synergy" route as the results have always seemed to be better. YMMV of course.

I never understood the desire by some to mix products together in the same bottle and play Chemist. Just seems foolish to me. Not saying that's what you inquired about here, but I guess that's what goes through my mind when I read posts about using this with that, etc. Again, I'm not against experimenting and for those who like to play with various combinations of detailing products enjoy and have fun.

I understand your point of view. Part of it is for me, since I have a variety of products maybe I can take this chance to finish off some of what I have. For instance, I used up the remainder of my Cquartz UK3.0 on the trim.

The car is in the garage now polished and w one coat of polish angel viking on it. From my past experience w this product it wont last more than a year so thats why i want to put the gliss on top. Like you I typically stay within a family of products. Being that I have gliss on hand, and if viking coat is similar in properties to Cquartz, i thought maybe they could marry well.

I think I will try it, post results, and hopefully help others on this form one way or the other. If it works out maybe others will do something similar. If its a fail, maybe it will save others some time. Thank you and apologies if I came off jerky earlier.
