Carpro Hydro 2

Any special prep before using it?
None at all. Just wash the car then apply Hydro2 to a section at a time then rinse. You will see it working as you rinse. Then dry the car off and enjoy. Works great on rims and all those tight spaces.

I washed this BMW the other day and hit it with Hydro2 the sun popped out as I was getting ready to blow dry it. The car looks great but the paint was swirled to hell from the brushes at the car wash.

02/22/15 car washed today and it's still going strong, plus the car came clean very easy.

I just bought the big bottle of hydro 2. Because of ease of use but what about opti seal? Which is a better product

Process to apply:

Strong wash with CG CWG
Light clay with the nanoskin wash mitt
No polishing
Broke the car down into 6 sections
Paint must be cool to the touch and car out of direct sunlight
Keep the car wet
Apply to one section at a time and wait for 60 secs before blasting with a strong stream of water
Repeat process on all 6 sections
Then utilize flooding method to rinse
Dry with leaf blower and MF WW towel on any excess water
Done

really nice review and best followup

i wonder for new car - white color
do i need to follow the same steps?

Any thoughts on benefits of this as a topper on Cquartz Finest for extra gloss and slickness?

H2's beading is crazy. I cleaned my wife's Honda's stock rims with Meg's Non-Acid, shampooed with Hyper, then applied H2. This was in mid-April. The car, while not driven too much, doesn't get washed religiously. And the wheels are nearly spotless, and clean up with a simple power wash. Incredible.

Can I use this over Wolfgang 3.0 or should the WG be removed first? OK to use over a carnauba wax? thanks for any input.

Can H2 be applied over another LSP (in my case FK1000p), or should I just strip my LSP and then apply H2 directly to the paint?

Looks like an id10t proof product.

It didn't last past the first wash on my focus st wheels. I even just used regular car wash soap to clean them and they didn't bead at all. The rest of the car was fine tho. It also didn't last too long on the rear bumper, but nothing I've ever used on this car last there for some reason. I think it's a combo of the center exhaust putting out a good bit of soot, mixed with it being a hatchback and the rear end getting dirty pretty quick. Other than that I like h2 and plan on using it again.

I haven't tried that product yet but it seems like its worth a shot.. i guess what would you dry the car with? I use the heated air blower from Metro and the spots that remain i usually do a little bit of a spray detailed and finish the job as my car has CQUK.

Product is expensive but if it saves time, i'm hands on deck!
