I also use a CR DI setup with power washer for my rinse after applying. Tried with just hose hooked to CR also and extra careful in insuring a through rinse. After 3 tries and tweaking my method I still get some form of spotting/streaking, all on light colored cars. Hard to notice till car is totally dry and since I use DI it takes a while to air dry. I since stopped trying to do a whole car but happily add that it's become my new go to wheel coating. Hard to beat the ease of use especially on intricate rims.
My only question is since its cured before I see any real spotting/striping. Do I really need mechanical abrasion to remove it or would a chemical cleaner do the trick? So far with success I've tried Meg's Ultimate Polish, #205 and PO85RD on LC HT Crimson pads. Another issue is removing streaks/spotting from clear bra's as I would rather avoid using anything even slightly abrasive though I have in the past. Who has used what (non-abrasive) with good results?
