Carpro PERL too sticky on tires

I had some laying around and I heard that it works good to clean exterior trim (plastics etc). I wiped with Eraser afterwards if that makes any difference, and the plastic was pretty grey and faded by that point anyway.
 
Here's a question... why did you use Leatherique Pristine Clean on your plastic mirror?

That's an excellent question!

I remember Todd Cooperider stating that it was a good product to use on vinyl and rubber surfaces, but not on plastics.
 
Well besides the fact that I shouldn't have used the Prestine clean on my plastics, the fact remains that PERL has not bonded to a single surface that I have applied it to. Perhaps I got a bad bottle of the stuff?
