I have a piece of trim on my wife's Pacifica that has been turned gray by using BH Autobalm on it a few years ago. I was told it was safe on trim and found out the hard way that it ruins it. I have tried numerous products and nothing would restore it. I got my PERL in from Avi and finally got a chance to try it out. I honestly did not hold out a lot of hope. Was I in for a pleasant surprise.
I applied it with a foam brush and let it sit overnight. It was mixed 1:1 with water. The next morning it was just barely tacky and was it nice and black. I did half of the trim piece to show the difference.

I then decided to try it out on my tires I had cleaned the day before with Krud Kutter to show Chris (on an L2D post):

Thank you Richy,
the PERL will give satin finish, not glossy. as you show here.

Hey Richy,

That stuff works really well, where do you buy it?

Oh come on man, right here at Autogeek. What I don't get is 50ml is $12.99, and 500ml is $15.99.

So that is going to last 3 months on those tires?!?

What is the equivalent of 500ml in United States of America terms. I hate the metric system

That's close to a pint, Flash...I'm just saying that you get 10 times as much for 3 bucks more.

Gotcha (pint)

Yea, it really is retarded how companys do this pricing structure. I see the same thing at the grocery. It makes me automatically have a distrust for any company that markets their products this way

Looks good, but does it run and does it really live up to its claim on longevity?

that must be mistake in the price ! , i will check it with Dwayne. on tires it will last round 1 month not 3, different surfaces , different durability. its vary on the dilution as well, for tires we recomand neat PERL or 1:1

Looks nice Richy

Wonder how it will react to rain?
PERL is hydrophobic , will resist water as much as it possible on the flexible tire rubber. Maybe Richy can show some pics with water drops on or water rinsing.

16 Oz

on external plastics ,rubbers , yes, it has very good UV protection, on tires less , since tires work in very harsh terms. time will tell with Richy's car i guess,

I'll be happy to update this further. I've already done a brake job on my wife's car and an oil change on my father in law's...I've had enough for one day.

What about for exterior plastics and rubber? Also, interior plastics?

Slacker. Haha!

It definitely looks promising Richy, thanks for the review.

Avi, how does the UV protection compare to 303 with 40 SPF?

We use same chemicals as 303 with little more concentration in it, so i believe its same UV protection if not more

Since it has been a while, based on your experience with UTTG and Perl, which would you recommend?
