About a month ago I won a Bottle of Car Pro Reflect and finally got a chance to try it out. Having used CarPro Fixer in the past and being very satisfied with it I had high expectations for Reflect and wasn’t disappointed.

Using a Flex 3401 on speed 5 with a Megs Soft Buff pad I primed the pad with an X as per the instructions and started on one side of the hood. What the instructions should say is a small X to prime this stuff goes a long way.

My primer X which didn’t quite go from one side of the pad to the other was more than enough to do a quarter of the hood. Hmmm Ok now I have quite a large working area covered in product I had two choices, wipe some of it off or see just how much working time the Reflect offers before this large area dries up. It didn’t take long before it was apparent this stuff has a very long working time. While polishing an area this large is not recommended and had it not been for the nice finish the M100 left I probably wouldn’t been able to pull it off, but the working time did allow for it. The rest of the polishing was done with three dime sized drops for each section.

I really enjoyed working with this polish. The working time is almost as long as you want it to be or at least it feels that way, there is no sense of urgency with it. Wipe off couldn’t be easier, it simply wipes off leaving a high gloss.

No LSP just M100 and Reflect

Thanks for your review. I've been wanting to try this polish....now I will for sure.

Lookin good! What other polishes would Reflect be comparable to?

Thanks guys. Challynger, Its really its own product, but I would compare it to BF SRC Polish, Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 or SF4000, 4500 in that order. That is also based on ease of use the Menz products don't wipe off nearly as easily.

Reflect is truly a fantastic finishing polish... it has less cut than M205, but more cut than SF4500.

This product is incredibly easy to use and leaves a fantastic finish. The most notable difference between this product and other finishing polishes I have used is how easy this wipes off!

CarPro also recommends this polish before applying a CQuartz coating because reflect only contains small amounts of mineral oil that are easily removed with an Eraser Wipe Down where as some other polishes may contain heavier oils or fillers that are not so easily removed.

I like HD Polish better than Reflect, but I haven't used reflect as much. I will say Reflect works much better with a gear driven polisher vs. random orbital.

Hmmm why do you suppose that is Mark. Now if you were talking about Fixer where you have to break it down then I could go along but this really doesn't act like fixer at all. But I also haven't used it with my GG6 either.

Wasn't reflect a Glaze type product as well? Maybe I am wrong but I think I was reading it had some filling ability on top of it's correcting ability...?

According to Corey at CarPro, it does not fill. It only contains a small amount of mineral oil for lubrication, but the oils are very easily removed with CarPro Eraser. This is why they recommend it to be a nice polish to use prior to applying CQuartz.

Ok thanks Zmcgovern45, I must be thinking of an other product.

I think reflect is a great product but its a DAT product which is much easier to break down using a forced rotation machine like the Flex 3401 versus a conventional DA polisher which takes more time and patience.

It breaks down faster than PO85rd but frankly I'd like to see how the new Meg's D302 SMAT product compares using a conventional DA polisher.
