Carpro Reload Application Question

They are ok for a handful of uses. After that they turn hard.

Reload had generated more threads than most products on the market and s vast majority of them are dealing with "issues" thriv

Reload sets on the shelf. I can make it work but it is just a hassle of a product. Why mess it when I can get similiar results with Opti-seal with 1/5 the effort and time.

Kinda how I'm starting to feel...it's like I keep trying to force my self to like it but I don't know why. It's a real love hate I have with reload...lol

The one thing I probably dislike most is how hard you have to wipe to remove it. That's not a good combo on the wife's buttery soft Subaru paint.

Ehhh decent product I may move on though.

So I've been using reload since it was reformulated in 2014 and here's what i've found. I've had issues with streaking when I first use it. When it's been sitting in the bottle and such. If I clear the sprayer and spray say 4-5 sprays away from the car just into the air it sort of clears out that product that's been sitting in the stem. Then I go to applying it to the car and haven't had any streaking issues.

I always experienced streaking in the first panel I did which is that product that's been sitting in the sprayer stem. Just something I've found that works for me..I dilute it 1:1 with water.

I've been told that the 2015 formula does not requires the dilution ratio, but I was still getting oil streaks, so I used 80% reload with 20% distilled water and I stopped getting the streaks.

is it the newest version? if so, want to unload your Reload?

I didn't have any issues with it streaking. I decided to spray it directly on my hood just like the guy in the Carpro vid.. I figured if they say it's ok to use alot then I shouldn't have any issues. Wiped in with a white Megs Ultimate Wipe, and followed up with a separate Ultimate Wipe and got great streak free results.

For the rest of the car I chose to use a new foam applicator to work it in, followed by 2 separate microfibers. I think this method was more productive as I didn't have to worry about overspray.

I didn't take too many pictures, but here's 1.
