I was wondering if anyone has compared the two before? I like AW but Reload seems to trump all aspects of AQ...

The Reload can be applied over 845, right?

Both tout the term sealant and I've never done a side by side comparison. Both work very well producing a gorgeous shine..

CarPro Reload is a spray sealant where Collinite 845 is a wax.

My rule of thumb is sealants are applied directly to the paint as they actually bond to it and waxes are applied last. In the case of a either spray you should be OK. I believe both are also water based products so you won't have to worry about solvents attacking the previous layer....

Haven't done a side by side but for my money it's Reload. Mainly because you can't beat reloads water behavior for me.

-Reload costs ~4 1/2 times more per ounce than AquaWax.
-I would possibly use Reload as a stand-alone LSP...
Not so with AquaWax.

What about the fuss over using AW as a drying aid? That's what I use it for. I seen the other thread but nothing was settled on in the end it seemed like

they're two different things....ones for a post wash touch up, one can be a dedicated sealant, two different birds....

Like already mentioned, different products for the most part. My question would be does the DG rinseless + Aquawax do the same thing as the stand alone Aquawax? Picking up the rinseless + AW could be huge as you can use it for a QD, rinseless, waterless and spray sealant....instead of just a spray sealant.

That's not an apples to apples comparison.
I love reload because you barely need any, one spray can do half the hood. Plus it's very slick, beads water very nicely, and lasts a good while as a standalone product.
Aquawax is a good spray sealant, however.

Thanks guys. I'm guessing then AW is safe to use over any wax let alone 845? I don't see how it can degrade the wax under it...

Unless there is another proven safe spray sealant/QD/wax that won't degrade the wax.. I do like the pop/shine AW gives when drying
