CarPro So2Pure Air Purifying Coating

I need some of this stuff for an upcoming project. How much is it, and where do u get it?
 
Oh yea. Can you shoot this stuff down the vents/cowl?

I bought this stuff in hopes of curing the smoking odor in my truck, little back story I bought a used truck which was previously owned by a smoker so of course very strong smell, I did all the basic cleaning steps to try to remove the smell and then tries So2Pure, really hasn't done much to help. I covered pretty much every surface with it, did get a little residue forming after a few days, I have since read that it will do that if not correctly wiped off, the residue was easily removed though.
I guess my question is, can So2Pure remove existing cigarette odor and was I correct in coating everything, it can be applied to the dash and vinyl areas inside?

just clean the leather before you spray... spray on and wipe on with MF.
its good on any surface and will eliminate bad odors ,germs, bacteria etc..

Yes ofcourse
sopure react with UV light, if there wont be light on your car it wont react
just spray it all over your car interior , on the dash wipe it off if you see residues.
close the windows for some time and leave your car in the sun.
it will work for pretty long time if you wont remove it.

Is the pump handle supposed to detached easily from the bottle? Because thats how mine is. It's right where the neck meets the bottle that piece seems to come off fairly easy.

Second...is the product supposed to smell funny when first sprayed? When I initially sprayed the car, it smelled rather funny...almost like old gym clothes or something. When I came back to the car later in the day there was no smell at all. I would say it works, but the initial smell of the product was weird.

about the handle i dont understand what do you mean.
about the smell, its light flavor smell of lemongrass , it suppose to disappear after few minutes.
i might change this scent in the future. :xyxthumbs:
 
See attached. Where the arrow is pointing to, I can easily take that off, thus removing the whole spray handle. It doesn't seem to be cracked or anything. It just seems like that part can be removed. I'd have to look at it again and take pics of it. Its at my lady's house and I won't be back until this weekend. It was the first time I used it.

sopure is not a cleaner!, before spraying it on the surface its better to clean it before. this is long time coat. will keep the smell and air purified for long time, if not wiped off from the surface. even as much as you clean plastic or leather surfaces there will always possible of smells and germs/bacteria re-making.. sopure will make sure to eliminate them after you cleaned... its good for the air cons holes too.

Avi, hoping you can clarify something for me. Based on my (admittedly limited) knowledge of biology, hydroxyl radicals eliminate odor by breaking down organic molecules. However, these free radicals do not distinguish between dead and living molecules - any radicals that get in your body will damage your own cells. As stated on your own site, "The whole process of So2Pure photo catalytic decomposition is non-selective" - how does it then break down organic molecules in the air without breaking down the organic molecules in people's cells?

yes, it shouldnt get off, (chinese poor quality ), let me know if you managed with it.

Well im not Chemist myself , and cant answer you with full details, i suggest you to do some research on Tio2 photo catalyst process over the web. sorry.

Its a struggle to hold it while spraying at the same time. Plus you can't hardly maneuver it too much without it splashing everywhere. Suggestions?

suggestions:
fast way: replace it with one of your empty sprayers bottles if you have.
slow way: contact AG and ask to replace the spray head or whole bottle.:xyxthumbs:
 
I want to try this product. As always I bought it and now have a question. Reading on their website they comment on "Not using it on black or dark colors as the oxidation process may

lift the pigment from the color." Kind of confused because they say you can put it on your dash and door panels etc. which in my case are black. Am I missing something?
 
Hi

it will not damage your dash or any black surface.. on hard plastic just spray it and wipe off
there is no color pigments inside sopure , its mostly precaution step not to spray too much on plastic and leave it to dry without wipe off.
if you follow the application it will be more than ok
