Thanks for the pics. That's a pretty dirty wheel, and it looks great after. Well, if the wheels have considerable amount of tar and iron, then it just shows that Sonax is not as potent as Trix against tar and iron. The again, using one cheaper product instead of two will save you time, money and effort. Great Job CarPro!

What's your observation when you applied Trix first before a wheel with Sonax? Did the Sonax do nothing and didn't change colors?

Can you please do the test again when the same wheels get dirty? Let's give the cleaning power of Sonax a benefit of the doubt and a chance to prove itself when tar and iron is minimal. It will also give Trix an opportunity to show if it can clean more than tar and iron. What am I thinking? If it can remove tar easily, any other above surface contaminant should be a piece a piece of cake.

My observation when i applied Trix is that it works FAST. Within <60 seconds, i saw the purple dripping down the wheel. The Sonax took at least 2 mins before i started to notice some purple dripping. Also TRIX got way more(at least double) purple streaks running down the wheel.

The wheel is 9 years old. Have never clean on the back of it I'm suprise that it came out looking pretty sharp.

You're right about "If TRIX can removed the TAR and IRON" there is no reason why it can removes any other contaminants.

Again, The fact that i got BOGO Sonax make it "cheaper" than TRIX. However, i'd buy TRIX over Sonax any day

Yes, base on my personal experience. I like TRIX as an AIO wheel cleaner if that make any sense. I'll take some finishing pictures tomorrow and post it up. I can not tell the difference between which clean with what product because TRIX is that awesome

Because i got some brembos, and i got some TRIX i could use lol

not only wheels!! we designed it for car paint as well !

i would be very careful with Brembo calipers , please test it on very small spot.. and if possible avoid spaying on these calipers .

So here is the finished product of my hard work

I polished the wheels w/ mothers Mag & Alu polish
sealed them w/ Blackfire crystal seal paint sealant

Pre-polish but post TRIX/Sonax wash

Post-polish

Pretty good shape for a 8 years old wheelset
