CCS vs "Classic" Pads

Maybe its me .. but after (3) solid days of working with my new CCS pads, I think I like the "classic" Lake Country pads.

When I was working with my XMT3 (orange pad) & XMT1 (white pad) it appeared that the polish took longer to break down with the CCS pads than with the "classic" foam pads.

Anyone else notice similar results ??
 
yes...i did lol..if your working a bigger section say a flat door the ccs pads IMO i think are are better but eveything ells the classic

I think it was meant to give you longer working time, therefore removing a little more defects.
 
When using the CCS pads, it will take longer to break down because the polish doesn't sink into the pad like it does with the classic pads.
 
I'm torn right now which pads to get with my next order. Some of my pads are getting to the point of needing replacement, and I don't know whether to go with the new CCS, or make the switch to the Edge pads. The Edge system seems to be a better value, but I still have some LC pads that are in good shape and don't really know want them to go to waste.
 
I have some unused classic white and orange pads, but would really like to try the new CCS pads.
 
The CSS pads are made not to absorb the product as much as the classics...I like them in a sense they hold product in the dimples and release as working the paint..thus you use less product doing so and get a longer working time also...I also found the CSS pads sling less ..

Oh. So the original are discontinued or just not being sold on AG anymore?
 
i like the CCS better than the regular pad, it kinda gives you more bite.
and i also have the edge 2k on order
 
I think I'll be ordering the 5.5" flat pads next time I order... I love the freebie I got.
