Does anyone know where to get CD2 engine detailer in Canada?

You might try emailing or calling Turtle Wax and asking them who, if anyone, sells CD-2 in Canada.

I thought the product was being pulled due to VOC regs ??

Hmmm, I sure hope not. I found it at my local AutoZone store. Perhaps I should go back and buy a couple more cans. It is so easy to use, and I love the shine it gives to the hoses and plastic in my engine bay.

+1 so easy to use and awesome results.:righton:

another +1. Takes an engine detail from the clean look to the new look.

Amazon's got it.

Amazon.com: CD-2 - Engine Detailer, 12.5 oz. (4516): Automotive

Had this sitting on the shelf for a few months, tried it today and all I can say is WOW! The GF's car was the guinea pig. Engine was already clean so I gave it a blast. Ended up doing mine as well. There's a few surfaces I wiped off as I preferred a little less glaring shine.

do you guys think cd2 will make the undercarriage of my car black again? its that sound deadening stuff. ive included a picture of how "brown" it is. its not even dirty, just brown or discolored.

i spent about three hours the other day and i cleaned it but it is still brown, haha. i used 50/50 alcohol, i used quick detailer, and i used amazing roll off.

im going to try simple green, then if that dont work i think i may give cd2 a shot. basically you just spray it on and thats it?

The products that you used is for cleaning and will not darken the finish. CD2 will give you that finishing touch. And yes, just spray and your done.

haha, thank you once again rsurfer. hopefully autozone has this stuff in my area.

Your welcome redboost. If you can't find it, another good product is Chemical Guys Bare Bones Undercarriage Spray.

I never found CD2 to be all that special. I still have a can and I use it from time to time. I personally love the look of 303 protectant on al plastic/rubber under the hood. I spray it on, leave it on, let it dry, then buff it off. It gives me a little more gloss this way, and I gotta admit, I love it!!!

do i have better chances finding the chemical guys at a local auto parts store than cd2?

You wont find ## at your parts store, but try auto zone for the CD2. ## is available through their website.

*EDIT - NO LINKS

I got an email back from Turtle Wax that was brutal. It went on to say absolutely nothing about where this would be available in Canada. I will just keep looking i guess.

here are some after shots...along with my huge helping hand.

i sprayed way too much so i had to go back and wipe some off. its kinda greasy so i hope it does not attract dust but if it does im sure it will at least keep its matte finish and i will be able to just wipe off the dust with a wet rag or something.

thank you all for the help.
