Anyone have any of this laying around? I only have a little left in my "Stash" and am finding out this stuff becoming harder to find. I found some on ebay for $15 a can!
Anyone with any that they are willing to part with, please look me up.

big lots has some for $4 a can the last time i was there and that was at a couple of them...

good stuff! but since i found megs hyper dressing mixed 4:1, thats all i use now on the engine and wheel wells. SOWA. no drips, no runs.

hyper dressing has worked well for me 3:1 for me in the wells, but falls short in the engine dept as well as for tires. cd-2 lasts (engine) and looks alot better...

I saw it at big lots as was going to try some, does it clean and protect?

your always going to want to clean the engine as best as possible and then apply cd-2 (spray lightly as a little goes a long way). i still favor this over sonus motorkote which i bought, used once and didn't care for...

Bad news, CD-2 is gone!

From an e-mail about a month or so ago, "...there are no plans at present for a replacement product."

Yea, that really bites!

How is this different then Stoners trim products? Or any other spray shine? I thought it was different in that is was like a foam tire spray that cleans and shines.

The CD-2 needed (used) engine heat to fully 'cure' into a semi-plastic coating. Whereas something like Stoner's (and others) is/are strictly 'spray on' and let it dry.

Anyone used this and the stoners trim shine? I've got the stoners stuff and really like it but my local big lots has tons of this stuff and I want to know how it compares in terms of durability and shine.

^ pick a can up it's only $4 and if you don't like it, you can always use it for the wheel wells, etc.

Ok thanks, I primarily use the trim shine on wheel wells but I do use it on engines and wonder sometimes if there is something better.

while i haven't used stoners trim shine in ages, i like cd-2 better. works great for the engine bay and lasts a good while...

Reviving I know but anyone have a retailer that might still have CD2 Engine Detailer in stock? I haven't found a store that still carries it. I used most of the can I had. Both my engine bays stayed much cleaner when I used it ever month or so.
