Ceramic coat Piano Black interior trim?

Like the title suggests, I am considering using an exterior coating on interior Piano black trim. My new GTI has an acre of Piano black trim on the center console. Its not a reflection hazard. I know from experience it is super easy to scratch and swirl and would like to put some protection on it to make cleaning easier and safer (plan to use rinse less to clean it)

I have some ADS quartz left over from my last coating, within the 30-day window. I also have some C6 Matt dash, but i would expect the quartz to perform better in terms of protection. The Matt Dash will be applied to everything else in the interior.

Coat it. No issues. I've done it before. I've also seen people PPF those areas.

Even with a coating it will still show scratches as those areas are just super soft. The best option is to PPF those areas if you wish to have them looking pretty much pristine all the time. A coating is the second option.

Have that PB trim also. I have been using a Adams super soft MF towel with TWHS Inside job ceramic cleaner/protectant. So far it has been keeping it pristine.

I plan to clean it with rinseless wash and a super soft brush / plush towel to minimize scratches as much as I can, im just hoping the coating helps some since i have it and applying it will take minutes at most.

It can be done either way.

Some companies have pre cut PPF i would be more worried about the slip solutions getting into electrical buttons etc,

Went ahead and did it. I was kind of haphazard, with application (wanted to avoid the plastic near it) definitely changed the appearance, but I dont mind that.

Ok here we are. Some photos of the interior. Please excuse the floor mats and touch screen, I was focused on the trim and leather. Used absolute wash and Gyeon prep on the piano black. Ads quartz to coat. (Mainly the center console and some random extras on the dash)

I cleaned the rest of the trim with ammo lather (probably my favorite interior cleaner) and a super soft max shine brush.

I cleaned the leather with gtechniq foaming leather cleaner and a soft leather brush. The dash and doors (non-piano bits) got c6 Matt dash, and the leather got leather guard. I had two almost full bottles from doing my maverick a few weeks ago
