ceramic coated headers

i've got my project town down and motor is on a stand. found a tool my box is missing, so a timing gear puller is planned for sunday morning.

at the same time, i'm looking at parts and wanting to do a bit of polishing.

i'm working on ceramic coated headers and have always been told the best option is steel wool

i'm wanting to know if there is a better option, or if the above mentioned method is the best option.

i have always just used mothers wheel polish on them with a powerball etc and they have always cleaned up well.

Personally I wouldn't use any steel/bronze wool on ceramic.

After you thoroughly clean the headers with a mild soap/water solution, you could use a dedicated ceramic polish, like this one:

Just a suggestion. (There are other dedicated ceramic polishes from other vendors.)

No steel wool. Mothers with a long tube sock, wrap it all the way around the headers and go to town.
