Ceramic coating on new wheels

I'm looking into a new set of wheels for my BMW. I want to ceramic coat them with PBL Diamond Wheel Coating. My question is if I coat them before the tires are mounted, will the balance weights adhere sufficiently to a coated wheel?

Yes they will stick, a bit of alcohol wipe will insure that.....just did a set for my new honda, It is so much easier to coat a wheel on the bench without a tire on it, than any other time.

Definitely. Thanks. I don't want ceramic on my tires, and I want to coat the whole rim. I was also considering taping off the circumference of the barrel where the weights would be applied, then coating the area I taped off with the weights in place.
