Hi was wondering if these coatings wear off or do they require polishing?

Currently using WG Ceramic Spray Coating.

Is there any light ones that don't wear off?

They all wear off Pete, even the “full” ceramic coatings… it’s just a matter of how long it takes.

Depends how much the vehicle is out in the elements, and what that environment is like.

Like Badger said, they all will wear off. The spray on coatings are not as durable as the wipe on, wipe off are.

Exactly. They are all semi-permanent. The real coatings will last longer and be more durable that what you’re currently using which looks to be more of a spray sealant.

CanCoat and Cquartz Lite are more like true coatings.

Thanks.
I do polishing by hand which one would be best Cancoat or Quartz Lite.
I thought Wolfgang Ceramic Spray Coating was a ceramic lite.

Thanks.

I feel from what I ‘ve read it is alot like Adam’s graphene spray coating. Stronger than most Sio2 Sealants but not quite a coating lite.

How long have you had it and how’s it performing.

I haven’t used Cquartz lite and probably never willl because Gyeon CanCoat is an awesome product for a coating lite.

You can now use it outdoors and has a 1 year rating. I got almost a year of great performance out of the old one rated 6 months.

Both are good options. If you have a garage then Lite. If you don’t then CanCoat Evo topped with Cure just as insurance policy.

Both coating will perform longer than their claims.

Might be time for a polisher to save your shoulders and get better results.

What is the difference between Cancoat Evo & Cancoat Evo Pro any extra work involved?
Where can I get these. Autogeek don't have any yet.

What the advantage Lite has over Evo?

How long do they last once opened, I will only have x1 car to coat at the start?

For CanCoat vs CQ lite you will here both are great and some prefer one or the other. ClamCoat Evo jas benefit of being applied out side.

CanCoat Pro is there Professional only version of CC evo. Regular consumers can not get. You can google gyeon CanCoat Evo if you want to see who sells it currently.

If like old CanCoat Gyeon states 12 months if stored right.

That is my problem with coating Lites. I only have 2 vehicles that I would apply to and even if I coated each twice in a year I would have half left over. Wish they made a can half the size for $39.99.

Reason i got into full coatings. Not too much harder to apply nowadays…. Longer durability and will use all the product up.

My problem with Can Coat is i can't use the whole bottle before the 3 supplied sprayers go t**s up. Tried everything from storing in water after use to sucking acetone through them.

I do simply find another sprayer and keep plugging through the bottle.

Don't get me wrong...I LOVE Can Coat!

I have a 2.5 side carport.
2 sides completely enclosed & other side covered half way down. Would this be ok for both Quartz Lite & Cancoat?

One car is in the carport & other outside.

Sounds like some of it goes to waste due to shelf life.

For sure yes with CanCoat and probably true for CQlte. The main thing is to keep them dry. Preferably for 24 hours.

I didn’t use the sprayer. I know the say it’s faster with MF but always worried about over spray and can get a panel covered pretty fast with a 3x5 autofiber applicator.

Just used disposable eye droppers.

How many drops per panel?
The new Evo has a new adifferent sprayer?
I uses MF applicator with the WG Spray Ceramic Coating and was good once loaded/primed.

I’d drip a solid line down the applicator.

Follow the recommended application for cancoat. Here is the video. The concern is the coatings seeing moisture which includes dew. The sprayer works best if rinsed right after using hot water. They include three sprayers.

2 1/2 sides enclosed.
Shouldn't take that much to rig up some plastic or tarps to covey the rest enough to keep it dry.

Thanks for that.
Unfortunately I can't purchase the Evo Cancoat. They have the old one.

I can get the Quartz Lite cost about $120.
Only thing that is holding me back is the shelf life.
I have x 2 cars I could coat even if I put 2 coats on that's still only in total x4 cars.
How many cars does one bottle coat.
