CG Black Light + Meguiar's Ultimate Wax?

Speaking of CS earlier has anyone topped that on non Z products. I have some left and will have souveran on both vehicles. I loved the look of clear seal as a topper even after z8 which I'm going to purchase some v7 for replacement

I have used CS on top of Souveran (after an overnight cure) and it did extend the durability for me. It also changed the look somewhat, for better or worse. It was more glossy and less deep, which was a negative for me. I've found just using Fuzion and maintaining with V7 has made this far simpler and better looking for me.

You shouldn't be topping a wax with a sealant: it's the other way around. I know Zaino says you can use it on "ANY other manufacturer's product" but that's rubbish to me - just a waste of products (1. the wax, because it's topped and no longer gives its distinctive look 2. the CS, because it won't last as long as it should).

Have you tried it? My guess is no. I tried it because:

1. I like to experiment (chemist/surgeon/academic mentality)
2. I got tired of Souveran dying on me after a week or so
3. I got tired of the fact that Souveran is a terrible dust magnet

Some combos give a look that is more than the sum of its parts. Blacklight and V7 are a great example of product synergism. For me, Blacklight/Fuzion/V7 are even better. Souveran + Z-CS was a miss as far as looks, but it definitely extended durability and reduced dust attraction. Therefore, that particular experiment was not a complete loss.

My suggestion is to try things before you knock them. You may be surprised at what you find :xyxthumbs:

So I can't use v7 as a detailer

You can use it as a quik detailer, but I've found it works much better on clean paint. It needs a spray, wipe, then buff to look its best. Putting dirt into that equation makes the buff part a bit more dangerous.

My go-to when I want to V7 is to use Ultima Waterless Wash+ first, then use the V7. UWW+ is much better at picking up dirt without leaving something to buff off.
