CG blacklight plus V7 - might be best combo ever?

black light and v7 so v7 is a glossy sealant.. correct? and how long will this last/protect?

Just got it...remains to be seen. Spray on, so u can use it as a quick detailer. Worth it just for the cream sickle smell, lol. (;~}€

WOW! That's some serious Kona! What a great color.

so top blacklight with v7 for great results? I got some for free with my last order from CG

Correct.

My jaw just dropped and I think I broke it.

I'm at a loss for words because I've never seen a finish look so spectacular! It may have something to do with that Ford Blue but God that's an amazing shine....:props:

Thanks bobby... A lot of it I owe to this new killer combo. I wonder if I can somehow add fuzion to this combo...lol

Thank you.

Blacklight and V7 don't have any wax right ? just synthetic stuff ?

To answer my original question (thread subject).... YES.

LOL.

Took this today after applying BL and V7. Love it. Have an order of CG GWG coming in... I wonder if it can top this.

Haven't used blacklight in a couple months...been using Victoria Red, Fuzion, and Souveran. So, I coated Marilyn in Blacklight today, V7 tomorrow. Made me miss this combo. Pics are regular, non hdr photos.

Looks great! Why not put in some Fuzion in between the BL and V7? That has been the killer combo for me.

Next on my list is EZ Creme Glaze II + Blacklight + Jet Seal 109 + V7 and see if that looks better :)

I haven't posted in a while... But I figured I'd post on my own thread to state that BL and V7 is still one of my favorite combos. This time I added Pete's 53 between the 2.

Does this beading look right? I applied BL a few weeks ago, topped with V7. Washed and tipped again with V7 about 4-5 days ago.

Doesn't seem to be tight beads, more like blobs.

Any input?

Could it be the soap you are using or your prep work before applying BL/V7?

I can't recall the soap I used, but I did a IPA wipe down before applying BL.

I mean, I have never seen every single water bead look exactly the same. That looks fine to me.

OP...awesome pics. I thoroughly enjoy Blacklight as well. It is an amazing product!!!! I don`t use V07 as much anymore, but its a great product as well.

In my experience this combo isn't about the beading it's the look. Also, did you clay at all before this? How was BL applied?

Top BL with Pete's 53 and don't put any V7 on until after your first wash.

Good point. Yes I clayed, iron-x'd and IPA wipedown. Applied with a da and black foam pad.

IME, v7 main attribute is not beading. It is: ease of use, adds slickness to surface, creates a good shine. Here is a picture of the beading on my car couple months back before I switched to using a stand alone Fuzion.
