Are you talking about the large, gray 630 gsm towels? I have two of those and they work great! I buy all my MFs there because I like being able to inspect towels before purchasing. I am usually disappointed when I buy MFs blindly online. I haven't tried CGs towels or Guzzlers though.

I took a towel VERY similar to this, cut it in half then sewed the opened ends up with a sewing machine using 3 seams about 1/8 inch apart with soft thread and made 2 beast towels...
can dry a whole yukon without having to ring it out... and i made it a BOGO deal..

I tried to ring this towel but have been unable to (probably because I'm not as strong as I use too)
But either way you can dry a whole car without having to ring. Pretty amazing. I then follow it with my Cobra MF towels for quick touchups
