I picked some of this up on my last AG order. The scent last a good long while, and it doesn't take much at all. My issue with it is the scent. It has a faint new car smell, but with a chemical twist? It's hard to explain, but I don't care for it, and my wife sure didn't. She's driving the test car too...:bash:

Do any of you use this and like it? It seemed to have great reviews, so maybe I got a bad batch?

Try diluting it

It smells great to me but it's almost identical to their leather scent.

I bought CG New Car Scent awhile back.... Smells horrible IMO! Immediately put in an order for Stripper scent and I'm all smiles :)

I like it. I find it doesn't seem to last as long as Stripper Scent.

I have it and it is my go to scent :dblthumb2:

I did initially feel it was "chemically" but diluted it and it is much better. It does take a few more spritz to deodorize but has better coverage since I spritz all the carpets instead of under the dash and under the seats.

I do agree that it is very similar to the leather scent

I do have the stripper scent and it is too "perfumy/sweet" for me

What ratio are you diluting?

5:1 (with deionized water)... wide fan spray misting on all the carpets with the AC on the coldest, recirculating, Max A/C, with the doors and windows shut. Supposedly the bacteriocides in the deodorizer help neutralize some of the A/C "junk". Remains to be seen, but works pretty good :xyxthumbs:

I let the car run for about 30 secs (fan on high with the doors closed). I've heard you can saturate a sponge and leave them under the seats but I like to refresh the scents once a week or tow (depending on usage)

I have it as well, it is chemical-like but that's exactly how a brand new car smells like. After a week of using it i got used to it and i like it. Will buy another bottle once i run out.

Leather and new car scent are the most controversial scents. Some love, some hate.

Same with Stripper Scent

I wish AG would carry the full CG line and offer a sampler pack of 4oz spritz. I would love to try more scents but not ready to take a gamble on a 16 oz bottle in case I hate it. I guess if we ALL ask nicely they would consider it?

maybe its just me but I prefer no scent and if i had to choose it would be of clean leather only. I never understood why people fill their car full of vanilla and pine trees. I guess they smoke.

I am also not a huge fan of the smell. Personally I would not purchase this scent again.

I'll have to try that and see if it helps. My wife called me this morning on the way to work telling me to NEVER spray it in her car again....LOL...:nomore:

It is different from the usual sweet smelling scents. If you've ever smelled the Ozium "That New Car Smell" it's pretty darn close to being identical. The Ozium is around $5 for 4 oz. I bought the gallon size which is a great deal compared... should last a while.

Just got it. Love it! Best "new car" scent I've tried.

Why not just buy from CG? A lot of stuff is cheaper.
