After seeing what we were doing on the Redline Red Hellcat we recently posted, the owner of this Phantom Black Hellcat also booked his Hellcat for a full correction, Expel Film on the front nose cone and Cquartz Finest to keep everything protected and easy to maintain. We also removed the wheels to apply Cquartz Finest to the wheel faces and inside barrels, as well as the brake calipers. All glass was then coated with our Extreme Glass Coating, giving a similar effect of Rain-X, but lasts up to 1-year.
Pre-Inspection & Paint Correction
Unfortunately, I was on a bit of a time crunch, I got into a groove during the correct process and I forgot to take photos showing the areas after polishing. Rest assured, ALL defects were removed completely by the end!
Defect Removed.
Defect Removed.
The owner requested that we debadge the rear center light on the car, which would then be replaced with a custom reflective Hellcat decal.
Once removed, we were able to access the panel with a 3" polisher to remove the scratches in the plastic. Before Polishing.
After Polishing.
New Hellcat Decal Applied. Under normal light conditions, its black and very subtle.
Once light is shined on it, it reflects back, much like the decals on a police vehicle.
Expel Ultimate Paint Protection Film
Expel Ultimate Paint Protection Film was applied to the nose cone to protect against road debris and rock chips. Sorry, again on a time crunch, so I wasnt able to take photos during the install.
Wheels Off Cquartz Finest Treatment
Each wheels was then removed to be cleaned inside and out, then coated with Cquartz Finest to help aid in brake dust management. The brake calipers were also cleaned and coated with Cquartz Finest. To top things off, all plastic fender trim was dress for a "like-new" look.
