change of heart on Zymol?

I have not tried any Zymol product by the exception of the OTC one for $14.00 anywhere around. I do think that the lifetime refills are excellent if, and only if, you do high-end cars mostly, and the customer request an Estate Wax. But, I was reading in another board, that you still need to pay for s/h back and forth when you need refills. I could be wrong, but I did read it. In my opinion, I think you can buy hundreds of cans of other waxes in a lifetime, and not even come close to the pricetag of this Zymol.

Final word: Not worth the pricetag...

I would love to try out the super high end waxes, but unless I have someone else paying the cost I dont think its gonna happen anytime soon.

Also Im just curious what are the two diff parts of the royale??

It's wax, I think something is up with the picture. The description says 44oz. And Vintage i s 22oz, so I am going to assume its two 22oz holes.

isnt it two diff. colors though??

I always thought it was two diff parts of the wax that had to be seperated until right before application??

Not sure, guess you gotta find someone with it! lol :D

the two diffrent sides are just wax, i have heard Zymol will die the wax to whatever colour you want. (assuming they have it) I think its just a novelty thing

And yes you do pay shipping to and from the factory. I worked it out to be about 50 bucks each way if I ship from canada. So at the end of the day you are paying about 5 bucks shipping an oz.

About a $1.13/oz ;)

Well all i can say is I want to try it haha and I also want to try Sal lol... My nattys is getting me by right now haha

Funny thing is I never thought I would be spending $80 for a wax and well I paid for my Souveran. Now I don't have high end vehicles but my vehicles are wel worth Souveran they are well worth purchasing some Zymol. There is a big price tag but My vehicles are well worth it if you ask me. I'm still re-searching Zymol but I don't need to have a Ferrari to use it on my vehicles. My Volvo, Lexus and heck even my beat up Jeep is good enough for me to use Zymol. I call it pride of owning what I own and I take good care of what I own. Well that's just my opinion on the price f Zymol....lol...now I just need to hide the price from my wife lol hahahaha...

Kobi,

we have no worry about Japanese waxes taking ahold anytime soon, trust me after using Soft99 Premium their number 1 offering.

Also remember with %'s alot is manufacturing mumbo-jumbo. Almost every wax chemist and manufacturing company has stated that more than 30-40% carnauba means the wax would never warm and spread. So there is no telling if any wax company truly has that much of one product in it. It truly comes down to prepping paint correctly and then finding the LSP that tickles your fancy. I get tickled just knowing that some actually know what LSP is, not the name on the bottle.

Last Step Product? I guess that is why in all the video/pics the apply the royal by hand? To use body warmth to apply? The puzzling thing for me is if wax needs warmth to spread, applied or some type of catalyst to keep it in some type of state until application. Would not the UV rays on warm days keep it in some emulsified condition on the Auto, thus trapping contaminates?
I belive that this is the reason for a good sealer underneath the wax? Maybe I am being too logical

Maybe the Japanese an Chinese havent had the opportunity yet to copy Pinnacle Souveran yet?

I used their cleaner wax and their regular wax years ago and got very good results. Until I found Zaino. But now I am going on the Duragloss bandwagon and see what that gives me.

anyone use Zymol titanium? I'm going to pickup something in the 70.00 range soon, should I just get Souveran?

trust me, anything less than the New Ital or Destiny is not that special compared to Souveran paste. You should be able to pickup Titanium for around 55.00 on Ebay and several discount sites as wanted. I still think youd be much happier with Sig Series II for 1/2 the price.
