Whelp guys, as I was preparing to submit my LLC documentation to become a business, I got a call and offer for employment at UPS as a full time delivery driver. So, I took it and now I am thinking that I just have a while lotta supplies to be that guy that just babies his cars every weekend.

I was really looking forward to seeing if I could make it on my own. Oh well c'est la vie.

Good move and I wish you the best. At some point you can make some extra cash detailing on the side.
:dblthumb2:

Congrats! Maybe you can detail on the side. No need for an LLC but as a sole ownership. Good way to write off all the stuff you bought!!

Again, congrats

Fantastic...
Good for you on landing this opportunity!! :props:

Congrats on the new job my friend! You made a good decision IMO:)

Congratulations on the job. You can always detail on weekends.

Congrats! Hey, if something happens, you can always return to your initial plan!

Congratulations on the new job. Think about one of the great perks: you get to deliver AutoGeek orders to customers, maybe even meet them waiting at the door and share in their excitement.

Congrats on the new job! :dblthumb2:

Building a future is the most important thing after all. When you consider the rejection rate, just getting in is KILLER! :props: Let us know if they have you do the "walking on ice" while carrying a box in your hands training. I've seen that, (and talked to those that have taken it) and it's hilarious.

Hey, I'm one of those guys myself, (with way too much stuff).

Don't have to detail for a living (thank the good Lord!). So I do what I want, WHEN I want. Pay my prices or go without, doesn't bother me at all. (Doesn't mean I still need $75 an hour to work, because I take my time, take breaks as needed, but DO that same $75 quality.... even if it takes me twice as long.)

But I bet I have more pads and towels (y'all know how I am with towels, right) than most detailers that have a crew of 5.

I just can't stand to try and do a car with a handful of pads. (Have something like 90~100 various LC foam pads and <dozen microfiber pads.) Much rather use one, it gets dirty (or hot) slap on another and keep going.

Add to that some 300+ towels and I'm set for life!

Now if only to use up all the darned compounds and polishes I have. ;)

Congrats!

Can we all guess who will have the shiniest big "Brown Truck?"

I wish man, they have their own car washers, I tell ya what though, when I get my permanent truck, tires are going to look clean with a slight hint of gloss at all times and my windshield will get the aquapel treatment!
