Chassis Cleaning

I think it all depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

There's quite a difference between what I do to my daily driver and what I do to my Corvette.

My underside of Dodge Dakota gets a coat of a concentrated cleaner or drgreaser via my power washer. Once it sits for a while I use the hifh pressure nozzle and 90% of the grime is history.

My Z06 goes up on the lift and gets cleaned by hand but it doesn't get all that dirty sitting in the garage most of the time anyway!

I don't have a bad case of OCD. My cars are DDs that I like to keep clean and protected.

I do need to pull the rims and clean up the barrels, so the wheel wells are available for cleaning. Once clean, I figured that I'd dress the wheel wells with something that wouldn't wash off and wouldn't attract dust.

I have a number of different products in the garage that are dressings but they also don't last long, sling when wet or attract dust.

I was thinking about ordering the GG or CG undercarriage products to try, but started wondering if a spray on sealant or sealant wax would give longer term cleanliness. Aqua Wax is inexpensive and sounds like it lasts for months.
