That is where I got my avatar picture from. I guess someone attending one of our shows took the picture of the Mad Ramblers playing. I'm still a Mad Ramblers btw everyone :props:

yes, dozens and dozens of times back in the day. it's too bad it closed down many years ago and since then there aren't many places for bands to play anymore...
 
Very cool !

Not saying it because of you, but I enjoyed the 1:10 minute / ahead part of the last video more than the others!

Video 2 is also very good, a 'rockabilly' style playing punk rock, awesome.

The Rockabilly... I can take, anytime actually.

But the acidpunkphyscobilly... :eek: Yeahhhhhh..... I'll stick to the ol' fashion Rock-a-billy. (Must be getting really old huh?) :rolleyes:

It was interesting seeing the kids standing at the stage, just looking around. Kept waiting on them to jump to the beat, or head bobbing.... but that'd been darned hard to DO without breaking something. :laughing:
 
Wow - the showcase theater... Blast from the past. Played there in the late 90s. Never forget the smell of that green room upstairs.
 
art, if you haven't heard of this riverside, california band from many years ago that play a similiar style of music, check out (there's some songs on youtube) Los Infernos - "Planet Kaos" CD...

Yes I play the upright bass as well. Actually I believe Menzerna makes polishes and waxes for wood.

I have been interested in getting some of the Menzerna. Especially because on of my upright basses could buy 6 Rupes 21's

I have 3 uprights btw.

Side Note: (I don't really care, but you know how people are)

They are called Upright Bass not Stand Up. Slap bass is used too as is the term Double Bass.

Just like color sanding/wet sanding. Wheels/rims etc....
